HISTORY

The origins of the company date back to the 1960s, when Mr. Miguel Alite created a small business for the bodywork of industrial vehicles, which has continued up to the present day. The second generation runs and controls a modern, specialised factory with a high degree of adaptation to the customer as a result of controlling practically all the manufacturing processes for its own brand of vehicles: ALITE.

ALITE-JCCM 2021 INNOVATION PROJECT

ALITE stands for innovation aimed at improving factory planning and management tools. Using as a base an open source ERP developed and implemented by ALITE in a previous Project, two new functionalities have now been incorporated:

1- Integration of a digital marketing tool on CRM module. This tool allows simultaneous control of the initiatives and opportunities of different work groups in different locations through a multilingual web interface that allows remote use of the application. It will be possible to generate, assign and share all the company’s commercial actions from the same common platform for coordination from the factory and aimed at rapid decision-making on product availability.

2- Development of an advanced manufacturing planning tool. A manufacturing management module has been incorporated that allows delivery times to be planned so that the commercial area has real-time orders and scheduled works from the factory. A control and monitoring tool has also been incorporated to be able to assess the conversion ratio of the offers made on each vehicle in planned manufacturing, being able to make reservations and thus adjust delivery times.

The Project is supported by a grant co-financed 80% by the European Regional Development Fund and by the Community Board of Castila-La Mancha.

ALITE-JCCM 2019 INNOVATION PROJECT

ALITE continues to innovate to improve its capabilities and the quality of its products. An example of this has been the development of a set of applications within an open-source ERP in order to plan, control and manage all the vehicles manufactured quickly and efficiently.

The scope of the integration has been carried out in a global way, by means of the acquisition of the own hardware to articulate the system and the realization of the own applications for the development of the manufacturing system of semi-trailers brand ALITE.

This new innovative advance will make it possible to control all the stages of manufacture, commercial management and after-sales service of the vehicles produced. Making available to our customers all technical, commercial and administrative information in real time and with controllable traceability.

This project is encouraged by a grant co-financed by 80% of the European Regional Development Fund and the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha.

ALITE-JCCM 2017-I INVESTMENT PROJECT

Alite, SL, in its continuous commitment to innovation, has developed a new innovative manufacturing process thanks to the Support Program for Business Innovation in Castilla-La Mancha 2017

The execution of the project has made it possible to incorporate into the production process of the company a folding machine of 220 tons and 4,000 mm in length controlled by CNC, a 22Kw automatic lathe with motorized tools and a distance between centers of 2,100 mm controlled by CNC and 3 MIG pulse type welding machines for aluminum; last generation.

The acquisition of these new machines will improve the production processes of folding, turning and welding of steel and aluminum structures for the automotive sector applied to transport in semi-trailers. Likewise, a reduction in operating costs will be achieved as they are extremely reliable and efficient systems that will avoid the need to subcontract processes and / or services. In addition, the flexibility of those manufactured will be increased by being able to fully control the production process of closures and hydraulic elements of revolution such as the actuating cylinders of the systems manufactured and incorporated in the manufactured vehicles.

This Project is encouraged with a subsidy co-financed 80% by the European Regional Development Fund and by the Castilla-La Mancha Community Board.

ALITE-JCCM 2017-II INVESTMENT PROJECT

Carrocerías y Cisternas Alite, SL, in its continuous commitment to innovation, has developed a new innovative manufacturing process thanks to the Support Program for Business Innovation in Castilla-La Mancha 2017

The execution of the project has allowed the incorporation of a cutting-edge CNC controlled fiber optic laser cutting machine into the company’s production process

The acquisition of this new machine will improve the production process for cutting and forming steel and aluminum structures for the automotive sector applied to transport on semi-trailers. Likewise, a reduction in operating costs will be achieved as it is an extremely reliable and efficient system for cutting metals and their alloys. Being the cleanest and fastest technology for the planned cutting processes thanks to its low maintenance cost as it is a LASER DIODE light source that is used for cutting the material.

This Project is encouraged with a subsidy co-financed 80% by the European Regional Development Fund and by the Castilla-La Mancha Community Board.

ALITE-JCCM INNOVATION PROJECT 2015

Carrocerías y Cisternas Alite, SL, in its continuous commitment to innovation, has developed a new innovative manufacturing process thanks to the Support Program for Business Innovation in Castilla-La Mancha 2015

The execution of the project has made it possible to design, manufacture and start up an automated manufacturing line, consisting of an automated cutting crossing, for large-format aluminum beams, implemented on a WATER JET AND PLASMA HD cutting equipment with a press of cold forming and automated MIG welding of aluminum.

With this business innovation project, a complete integrated solution has been achieved, as they are particularly complex and large structures for which there are no commercial systems that offer a complete solution. The experience acquired in manual manufacturing processes and existing means has been used, together with the innovations developed; in order to have a precise, repeatable and optimized system for the manufacture of said superstructures.

This subsidy is subject to the provisions of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014, of June 17, 2014, declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty. And it will be financed by the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha and, where appropriate, by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through the 2014-2020 ERDF Operational Program of Castilla-La Mancha.

ALITE-CDTI PID 2014 INNOVATION PROJECT

Carrocerías y Cisternas Alite, SL, in its continuous commitment to innovation, has developed, with the financial participation of the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), a research and development project called “SEAT PROTOTYPE OF RSU TRANSPORT” with ID number. 20141050.

The execution of the project has made it possible to design, manufacture and start up a new type of vehicle for the transport of Urban Solid Waste (MSW) in a completely watertight manner.

With this business innovation project, a complete integrated solution has been achieved for the transport of fractionated goods with a fluid component, as is the case of Urban Waste. The innovative solution proposed and developed incorporates a moving floor for loading and unloading of our own manufactured merchandise. The vehicle developed consists of a 3-axle integral aluminum semi-trailer with a moving floor machine at the lower rear. This innovative configuration represents an advance in the state of the art of this type of vehicle as it increases its performance by reducing its mass in running order and increasing the volume of payload by 10% compared to existing solutions.

The innovative component of the development of the project can be specified by the granting of a Patent / Utility Model of the development by the SPTO No. 201500086, publication No. ES1138868 on 10-16-2015.

This aid complies with the provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 800/2008 of the commission of August 6, 2008, which declares certain categories of aid compatible with the common market in application of articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (General Regulation of Exemption by Category. DOUE L 214, of 9.08.2008). In addition to the specific regulations in the case of co-financing.
